The Crowns

We surprised Shannon for her 16th birthday and took a group of her friends out to dinner at Brodies.  The tradition for our family is that you have to go to Brodies on your birthday weekend to get the traditional Brodies Crown, the "take home tin".  The girls convenienced Matt to wear Shannon's crown while she worn the Brodies Crown.

I used the kit Something Cutsie by Lemmon City Productions, a collaboration of steel city scraps and Christy Lemmon Designs. This is a fun kit to work with.

Well Valentines is almost here so I thought I would share a layout from past valentines.  Each year the Lakeland East Girl Scouts hold a valentine event in which we get together and make valentines cards which are brought to one of our local seniors centers.    I used the kit groovy love by christy skaggs to create this layout. I love all the fun papers in this kit.  You can get this at godigitalscrapbooking.com.

Soccer isn't just a game

Megan loves to play soccer and she is actually very good considering she really began playing on an organized team 2 years ago.  She has gotten a little tougher with each game.  I used the kit sports stars by Wimpy Chompers.  This kit is great it has papers and elments for many sports.  You can get it at Digital Candy.

Summer Fun

With all the cold weather in New York I decided to create a layout that would remind me of the warmer weather.  Whenever the kids come over they try to see who can push who the highest on the swing in our tree.  I acutally think they are trying to see who can touch the basket ball net.

This layout was created one of the newest kits from Creationz by Jo called new life.  The frame cluster is from Angie Kovac Digital Designs, and word art from elegant word art by bethany.
